| Thallus yellowish brown, 0.4–0.6 mm thick, smooth, dull. Ascomata conspicuous, black, scattered, open, immersed, 0.1–0.3 mm wide, forming clusters of repeatedly branched lirellae 1.0–2.5 mm wide. Disc dull black, epruinose. Proper exciple very pale brown, non-carbonised, inconspicuous. Hymenium 80–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate, pale brown, 4-locular, 12–15 × 5–6 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
